Privacy

What we count, and what we never do.

We count anonymous clicks to improve the course. No cookies, no ads, no personal data.

Reading and playing

You can read every step, play today's prompt and play Unit 1 of the game without signing up for anything. Your progress, your streak and your choices are kept in your own browser (local storage), not on our server.

The anonymous events

When you finish a step, answer a prompt or open the pricing, the page sends one small event: its name, the page, where you came from if a link said so (for example utm_source=shorts), your country as reported by our host, and a random id made in your browser. There is no IP address, no email, no name and no key in it, and no tracking cookie is set. We use the counts to see which lessons lose people and which exercises are missed most, so we can rewrite them.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is sent at all. Raw events are deleted after 13 months.

Page views are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or fingerprinting.

If you buy

Payments happen on Gumroad, which is where your name, email and payment details are held. The full game and The Filter Pro check your key with Gumroad on our server, never in your browser, and keep a session in a secure cookie that only exists to keep you signed in. The one-time game sends no events.

Email

The email sign-up is optional and is never needed to read or play. If you join, you get one short email when a new pack lands, and you can unsubscribe from any email.
